Tom Reynolds

Head of Strategy

Tom has been advising on real estate finance for over 20 years, successfully navigating a multitude of market challenges.

Initially forging a niche in the luxury development sector and having funded some of England’s highest value homes, Tom has a long history in dealing with UHNWI’s, and their Advisers.

Through the debt advisory business he founded, Tom has raised structured finance facilities for large BTR & PBSA projects, as well as continuing to advise SME Developers and Investors.

Tom has originated and ran a residential development mezzanine platform, as well as raising and deploying UHNW investment into joint venture projects.

Tom has oversight on strategy for Deploy and focuses on returns for all stakeholders.

Stuart Bradney

Head of Origination

Stuart has operated in the real estate debt advisory and brokerage space for over 20 years whilst also providing direct lending on a first charge, second charge and equity basis. His focus has been business development and relationship management for large SME professional portfolio landlords and developers.

Stuart has been involved in the acquisition and sale of businesses in the financial services sector including a wealth management business where his primary function was head of real estate for a number of years.

He has also held positions which require him to perform FCA controlling functions, which underpins the required regulatory responsibilities needed across the real estate lending sector.

Paul Lyons

Head of Risk

Paul has more than 20 years experience in financial services with a background in Banking and Debt Advisory.

During a 20 year career, Paul has held roles at Lloyds, RBS, Santander and Cynergy Bank. Paul has become a recognised and trusted lender and advisor in the market having held senior Banking positions in credit, restructuring and origination functions and as a FCA controlled function Director at Carbon FC Ltd.

Paul was instrumental in building Cynergy Bank’s South East portfolio, originating a £200m loan book in less than 3 years.

Paul plays a key role as Deploy now looks to launch into the UK Real Estate market.

Marcus Gunn

Head of Operations

Marcus has been a FCA controlled function & Director for Carbon FC Ltd Funding brokerage since 2008.

He brings a wealth of experience to Deploy in the role of Operations Director, in which, oversight of all systems and controls are essential for both the Investor and Borrower journey.

James Lawrence

Investment Director

James is the Investment Director for Deploy and brings extensive experience across commercial and residential assets structuring, funding and investment.

James started his career with JLL in the West End of London followed by four years working for Helaba within the Real Estate Finance team in the City of London, where he was directly involved in the underwriting of over £600m of commercial real estate.

Greg Jones

Non Executive Chair

Greg Jones has significant experience as a SMF 24 Chief Operating Officer and SMF 6 Managing Director, Property Finance and has operated at senior Executive and Board levels across arrange of large/challenger banks.

Greg brings independent challenge and governance and Chairs Investment Committees.

Pavan Deved

Relationship Manager

Pavan is a Relationship Manager in the Deploy team. Pavan has previously spent several years at a well-respected clearing bank within real estate finance. Offering structured lending between £10m – £125m, supporting the development and financing of residential properties.

His expertise involved analysing financial and commercial data and non-financial analysis to make positive decisions for clients and the banks credit appetite. Pavan has experience in preparing sighting papers, term sheets and strategy presentations. Liaising with external stakeholders including debt advisors, valuers, monitoring surveyors, lawyers and other financial institutions on syndicated and club facilities.

Stephanie Mooney

Relationship Manager

Stephanie is a Relationship Manager in the Deploy team. Stephanie is committed to delivering a positive client experience and ensures that the formal process is completed in a timely manner, liaising with clients and professionals to ensure the process runs smoothly.

Stephanie has spent over 10 years working in the real estate finance sector, allowing her to understand client’s requirements and assist in structuring the right deal from the outset. She has extensive experience on the bank side, for both a clearing bank and a challenger bank.
